Hi everyone
I am delighted to say that today we have one fabulous creation. This special guest contribution comes from a lovely lady Lynn Lock and I asked Lynn to send us this photo and write brief instructions about how she created this beautiful card.
What I like personally about this card is the fact that Lynn took our beautiful Garden Bloom paper pad in Pink colour and she has very cleverly turned it into a red version by using red card for mounting the pink paper and pink post card and red flowers and mixed flower buds.
I hope that you will enjoy reading this post and appreciating Lynn’s creation.
Products Used:
Using an 8″ x 8″ Mont blanc card as the base, mat and layer, first the red card, then the Garden Bloom papers, gently distressing the edges using scissors, then colouring the edges with gathered twigs distress ink.
Take a postcard from the Garden Blooms tags, stamp the sentiment on the postcard. Using the red card left over, cut the card a little larger than the postcard, rounding off the corners, glue them together, gently curve the postcard to look like a book, glue down the centre of the back of the postcard and position it on your card at an angle.
Use die cut leaves, assorted flowers, red flower buds, stamens and pearl berries, arrange and place at the bottom of the book. Finally use the crushed ice to highlight areas on the card.
I hope you like my creation everyone.
Happy Crafting
Lynn
