Fantastic present idea.

Hi happy crafters, I’ve got a blog here on doing this shadow box that I made for a friend, it’s easy and doesn’t take long to do.

Firstly taking one image of the “live the life you love” napkin mount it onto a piece of white card using the napkin glue on the card first and then laying acetate over the top and rubbing all over to stick the napkin down.

While that was drying I cut a square of blue card to fit in the frame. Cut the napkin to size and ruff up the edges and I’ve mounted it onto a piece of black card cut just a few millimetres larger than the napkin, this just makes the image stand out a bit more, mount this on the blue card.

I then made the arrangement by laying some voile first, then the raffia. Place a selection of flowers and lavender sprigs and stick them down. I find a glue gun the easiest way! Finally I put some shells on as a finished touch.
